World Series of Tacky Jewelry

Apparently concerned that poker players were beginning to display too much class and style (damn you hologram sunglasses and denim shirts), Harrah's has announced the creation of a new bracelet, to be bestowed upon the winner of the World Series of Poker.

The champion's bracelet will be crafted from 14-karat white and yellow gold, with full-cut white diamonds. The plaque is handset with 170 hand-picked diamonds weighing more than six carats. The bracelet's center features uniquely shaped precious color stones to represent the suit designs - a heart-shaped ruby for the Heart suit, a princess cut-shaped ruby for the Diamond suit, a heart-shaped black sapphire for the Spade suit and three round black diamonds for the Club suit. The bracelet's plaque is supported by roughly 58 grams of solid diamond cut rope chain.

The bracelet, an exercise in bad taste designed by Frederick Goldman Inc, will appeal to those who have always dreamed of wearing a miniature replica of a World Wrestling championship belt on their wrist. Odds-makers have now installed Mr. T as the heavy favourite to win the Series, as the only human willing to sport this hideous piece of crap. Alas, with a $10 million first prize, there will be no pitying the fool who actually wins it...
