Super Bowl Odds finally even

No, not the line. It's not even--what I mean is that the online books as well as casino lines have finally evened up in terms of what they feel the "chalk" is. At the beginning of the two-week interlude prior to the game, casinos opened with a 14 point line which almost immediately dropped to 13.5 in the first hour, as hordes of bettors thought the line was way off.

With the Patriots only covering 2 of their last 9 and the fact that the Giants have blown every line they've faced in the playoffs out of the water, it is clear that public sentiment lies with the fact that the numbers are off. It is still quite the cavern in terms of the odds overall, but at least you will probably not see too many times where people have multiple bets and are trying to middle the score and maximize their betting.
