Rookie wins WSOP seat in PlayersOnly tourney

Running off a free roll win earlier in the week, a man known only as Robert P. won the first of 12 seats to be rewarded by PlayersOnly.com, winning the tournament and a $12,000 prize package guaranteeing a seat at this year's World Series of Poker.

When interviewed by playersonly, he noted that many of his favorite online poker sites were either not offering any WSOP seats this year or were shut down altogether, a lashback effect to the new online gambling ban act. The changes are sure to really send a wave of difference in terms of total seats at the WSOP and online poker until a change may be made if repealed.

Playersonly is hosting a tournament every Sunday night for 12 weeks, with players able to buy in for 100.00 or win with a "free roll", like Robert P., by winning at the Sunday night playoff in a series of qualifying satellites throughout the week.
