Poll shows younger Canadians favoring online gaming

titlephoto_onlinegambling.jpg

You know, you can throw out pretty much any statistic you want for basically anything you want to accomplish; polls tend to be able to be manipulated whichever way a business or person wants it to go, but yet when popular pollster Allan Gregg polled the Canadian gambling public, there was no mistake that there are some sure-fire trends that are happening.

For one, those that are under 35 are gambling more and more, while about a third overall from all ages are gambling less than three years ago. And what's more is that when asked, those under 35 have more of a penchant to explore online gambling for sports betting as well as lotteries, which is not a surprise considering the worldwide trend towards the explosion of online gaming overall.

However, the issue at hand is that the online gaming experience, for the most part, is not legal in many forms, so the poll that Gregg took to the Canadian Gaming Summit basically said one thing: it's time for change. The days should be long over that Canadians have to access online gaming through proxy servers or Native American reservations, don't you think?
