Partygaming "open" to Vegas Casino offers

PartyGaming, an online poker site that is owned in the United Kingdom, has been quoted that they are potentially open to being sold to casinos in Las Vegas. This would be huge considering the presence of Partygaming as well as Vegas' interceding an online community in the midst of the fight over the online gambling ban in the US.

In an interview with PartyGaming's Chief Executive Officer Mitch Garber at last week's EIG 2007 i-Gaming conference in Barcelona, the statement was clear that if Vegas is interested, Partygaming is listening. However, Garber refused to comment as to whether the company was already in talks with a particular casino or if there were any potential main suitors.

There have also been rumors that 888.com is a possible buyer--but when questioned about this, 888.com has refused comment and has not spoken at length at all about a possibility (not even a shrouded hint!!) As far as those Vegas casinos who may be taking a look, industry experts have noted that the Bellagio and the Mirage could be the two main players in the bid to get the UK online firm.
