Online Casinos now reaching the iPhone

While so many software developers have stomped their feet in temper tantrums because of the technology limitations that Apple's iPhone has brought about, other sites are smiling wider than a cheshire cat because--guess what--theirs works!

Slotland.com, who actually has their games in html/xhtml than the customary Java and Flash environments that so many other sites run, can be accessed on the iPhone via the web browser, which runs Safari, just like the iMac desktops that Apple makes. Slotland also had been one of the only game sites that had worked on WebTV, and so now the niche has expanded to the sizzling-hot iPhone, and obviously they couldn't be more happy.

Slotland manager John Lancelot noted "Officially, no third-party applications will be allowed to be installed on the Apple device so the web browser will likely be the only way to access casino games on an iPhone....Slotland has always been one of the few casinos that really worked well on web television browsers and, for the same reason, they’ll be the only ones to work in customized trimmed-down browsers like the one in iPhone."
