Harvard Study shows Women bettors more successful than men

Harvard Medical School's study of online sportsbettors has revealed interesting and useful information on betting demographics and patterns. One of the most notable is that women high stakes bettors have been more successful than the opposite sex--something that stereotypically would not have been thought of.

Results released from the large sample study "favor women as exhibiting more effective sports gambling behavior than men,''. Women also wager higher stakes with more intensity than men. According to the study's sample, women bet 15 percent more often than men in a defined time period. It should be noted that men comprised 92 percent of the study.

So does this mean that with the huge differential that the results are skewed? Maybe so--but not likely--industry experts have long thought that women and men differences in betting usually would result eventually in a larger setting that women often feel like they have to prove themselves in those types of environments which would preclude into larger betting. However, the fact that it's been proven on this level that the larger betting has resulted in larger success is something that has not been relatively accepted. Now, however--take note!
