Forums providing fire for online gambling

Every time you click to a web site having to do with gambling, it's inevitable. Flashing lights, huge and almost obnoxious pop ups about the deposit bonuses to whatever casino you can think of. You would think that with all of these things cluttering up the 'net, that it would obviously be the reason why players go to a particular site, right? I mean, you just CAN'T do enough advertising, correct?

Well...not so fast. A survey done recently showed that nearly 40 percent of online players actually get their tips as to the "place to be" from internet message boards and forums. Places like casinomeister.com have been around for more than a decade, and boasts thousands of members who talk about nearly anything, from the best bonuses to the best odds to the legal situation in the United States.

So, you think this will stop all of the online gambling sites in their tracks and to start paying touts to go onto the message boards and pump up their sites? Maybe. But I would be willing to put even money that the popups are here to stay. *Sigh*
