BCS Title Game Odds Favors Select Few

While speculation always swirls about who is the national champion for college football, sportsbooks have the tough job at determining the odds for the BCS championship game winner. This is especially tough because, unlike all other professional and college sports, there is no distinct format as to how things will "go down" as the season goes along. Nonetheless, the odds are what they are, and here are the latest odds to win it all in NCAA football:

USC 3.7
LSU 9
Michigan 10
Florida 11
Texas 11
West Virginia 13
Louisville 21
Ohio State 21
Oklahoma 21
Virginia Tech 26

It appears that once again the strongest conferences will be the SEC and the Big 10, with two teams each in the top 10. My guess is top to bottom the best conference will be the SEC--LSU, Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas--all of these teams can be extremely dangerous against anyone.
