Academy Awards Odds--Best Actor

The Academy Awards are a couple of weeks away, and there are so many great performances to look at and so many great movies overall. Even though the writer's strike has put a damper on Hollywood as a whole, that didn't stop the quality movies to come along over the last year. One of the bigger awards is Best Actor. Here are the odds below:

Daniel Day-Lewis 1.10
Johnny Depp 11.00
George Clooney 13.00
Viggo Mortensen 26.00
Tommy Lee Jones 41.00

Obviously Day-Lewis is the heads and above favorite. It's going to be hard to think that the Oscar voters will vote anyone else, considering that Depp starred in a musical, which don't fare too well in normal Oscar voting, and Clooney, who although his performance was amazing in Michael Clayton, did not have the critical acclaim that There will be Blood and No Country for Old Men brought across all mediums. This is actually a pretty open-and-shut case; if Day-Lewis does not win, it will be a shocker.
